The TORNINOVA
SHEETEX plant is designed to cut plastic materials, such as polyethylene
foam and air bubble film, at a pre-set length. The cut and division of the sheet
or multiple sheets is performed by razor blades. The forward movement occurs via
an inverter controlled pressure roller. The cutting blades, with self-sharpening
action during use, do not need to be adjusted to correspond to the thickness or
number of sheets to be cut. The cut sheets are stacked on needles and
subsequently collected on a table with pivot rotation to facilitate the
extraction of the sheets by the operator; an anti-static bar and air-blower
assists the sheets in piling up one on top of the other.
The number of blades supplied depends on the needs of the customer.
